Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you browse this website, send a booking inquiry, or hire AshrafKhokharFilms for photography, film, or editing in Karachi. A signed booking note, invoice, or WhatsApp confirmation for your event sits alongside this page and fills in the date, venue, package, and fee for that job.

The studio

Inquiries and bookings

Sending a form or message is a request, not a confirmed booking. A date is held once the studio confirms in writing and the agreed advance is received. Until then, dates can still go to another client.

Please give accurate timings, venues, guest count, and the services you want so we can plan crew and coverage.

Fees and payment

Package prices on the site are a starting guide and can change with dates, travel, extra hours, or added films. The amount due is the one we confirm for your event.

• An advance is required to lock the date
• The remaining balance is due as stated on your invoice or booking note, usually before or on the event day
• We do not collect card payments on this website; payment details are shared directly by the studio

Your responsibilities

• Venue access, parking, and permission to photograph or film
• A clear run-of-show, including baraat, rukhsati, speeches, and must-have family groupings
• Meals and a safe working space for the crew on full-day events, unless agreed otherwise
• Any extra permits required by the venue or city

Delays, blocked access, or missing permissions can reduce coverage. We are not responsible for moments we could not reasonably reach.

Coverage and creative work

We shoot and edit in the studio’s cinematic style, while taking your brief, family priorities, and event mood into account. Lighting, crowd, weather, and venue rules all affect what can be captured. We do not guarantee every guest or every angle.

Raw files stay with the studio unless a separate raw-footage agreement is made in writing.

Delivery

Photo and film delivery windows are confirmed at booking. Timelines can shift for peak wedding season, extra revision rounds, or late selections from your side. Please download and back up your gallery when it is released.

Storage after delivery

After we deliver your photos and films, we keep a studio copy for two to three months so we can help with a re-download if something goes wrong. After that period we delete the files from our systems.

Please save your own backup as soon as the gallery is released. Once those files have been deleted, AshrafKhokharFilms has no further responsibility to store, recover, or deliver that data again.

Changes, postponement, and cancellation

Date changes depend on studio availability. If we can move you, the advance usually transfers to the new date. If we cannot, or if you cancel, the advance is generally non-refundable because the date was held for you. Any extra refund or fee will follow the written agreement for that project.

If the studio has to cancel because of illness, emergency, or a cause outside our control, we will help arrange cover or a new date and discuss a fair refund of fees paid for work not delivered.

Photos, films, and usage

The studio owns the copyright in images and films we create. You receive a personal licence to enjoy, print, and share the delivered files with family, and to use them for your own wedding or event memory. Brand or advertising use beyond the agreed job should be discussed first.

We do not publish your work without permission. If you agree to portfolio or social use, you can withdraw that permission later for posts we still control.

Liability

We take care of equipment, files, and direction on the day. If technical failure, theft, or a similar event affects part of the coverage, our responsibility is limited to the fees paid for the affected service, except where the law does not allow that limit. We are not liable for venue restrictions, guest behaviour, or third-party suppliers.

Website use

Do not copy, scrape, or reuse site text, photographs, or films without permission. Package details and availability can change. This website does not create a booking on its own.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the courts of Karachi.
