I am Ashraf Khokhar, Founder and CEO of AshrafKhokharFilms. Based in Karachi, I have spent around 25 years in photography and cinematography — turning weddings, events, and brand stories into stills and films that people can return to.
Over those years the work has grown from capturing single moments into complete visual stories. I cover mehndi, baraat, and valima; event photography and cinematography; portraits; corporate programmes; commercial and product work; brand campaigns; social content and reels. Private celebrations and professional productions receive the same planning, the same cinematic standard, and the same finish in post-production.
I start by understanding the brief. Coverage is planned around the rooms, the sequence, and the people who matter. I look for natural emotion rather than forced posing, and I give direction only when the frame needs it. On important days I work calmly. Composition, lighting, and detail stay in view throughout, and the photographs, films, and reels are delivered with the same care as the shoot.
Clients trust me with days that cannot be repeated, and with work that represents a brand in public — an intimate gathering, a large wedding, a corporate event, a commercial production, a campaign, a product shoot, or social content. I am not here only to record what happened. I am here to keep the atmosphere, the people, and the important beats in a form that still feels true years later.

I listen first, understand what the day needs, capture what is actually happening, and then create the finished photographs, films, and reels. That is how I have worked for 25 years.
